Your household data stays yours
An app that holds your shopping habits should be straightforward about what it does with them.
- No ads and no advertising SDKs. Nothing in the app is trying to sell you anything.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs. We don't build a profile of you or watch how you use the app.
- We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- Your home is private to its members. Enforced by the database itself, not just by the app.
- Delete everything, from inside the app. Settings → Delete Account. Immediate and permanent, no email required.

Questions
Is HomeStox free?
Yes. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.
Do the people I live with need their own accounts?
Yes — each member signs up with their own email, which is how the app can tell you who changed what. Invite them from Settings once they've signed up.
What can other members of my home see?
Everything in that home: items, notes, purchase history, and which member recorded each change. They'll also see your display name and email. Anything you'd rather keep private shouldn't go in a shared home.
Can I use it on my own?
Absolutely. A home with one member works exactly the same — you just won't get notifications, since those are for changes other people make.
Does it work offline?
Recently loaded data stays visible offline, but changes need a connection to reach the rest of your household.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. HomeStox is Android-only for now.
What happens to my household if I delete my account?
Homes you shared with others survive, and ownership passes to the longest-standing member. A home where you were the only member is deleted along with everything in it. The app tells you exactly which is which before you confirm.
